Is HCG Safe? A pregnant woman produces up to 1,000,000 IUs of hCG per day which is required to insure a healthy baby.

The FDA has approved hCG as a fertility drug. It requires up to 6 doses of up to 10,000 IU of hCG per cycle. (60,000 IU in less than 2 weeks)

The FDA has approved hCG for boys who have delayed puberty. Required dosage is approximately 35,000 IU in seven days.

The average dose of hCG for weight loss is between 125 and 250 IUs per day.
